Mckennah + Jordan
A Spring Vintage Wedding
Bakery 105, Wilmington, NC
On a beautiful, spring day in April 2025, Mckennah and Jordan said I Do surrounded by 100 family members and friends.
On the morning of the wedding, Mckennah got ready off site at a nearby Airbnb with her VIP girls.
Pre-Ceremony
The couple chose a vintage wedding aesthetic and brought on vendors who could elevate their venue for their classic vibes.
At the Airbnb, Mckennah did heartwarming first looks with her bridesmaids, flower girl, and her dad.
Once everyone was on site, Mckennah and Jordan shared a first touch and private vows.
The ceremony was held outdoors and culminated at a white cross draped in white fabric and an arbor spray.
Ceremony
The family walked down the aisle to soft instrumental music, groomsmen to “Turning Page” by Sleeping at Last, and the bridesmaids to "Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Haley Reinhart. Mckennah was escorted down the aisle by her dad to “A Thousand Years” by Brooklyn Duo.
The ceremony was short and sweet, blending in elements of the couple’s spirituality and their love story.
The couple and wedding party recessed out to “Ordinary” by Alex Warren.
Cocktail Hour
While the guests went to cocktail hour on the patio, the bride, groom, their families and the wedding party took pictures.
After the couple finished their photos, they took time to enjoy their outdoor photo set up.
Reception
The reception started with the intros of the wedding party to “Forever” by Chris Brown, followed by the newlyweds coming in to “Marry You” by Bruno Mars.
After the intros, the couple went into their first dance - “Heaven” by DJ Sammy Ft Yanou & Do.
Then the couple welcomed their parents up to the dance floor for the father daughter dance (“My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw), the mother son dance (“Can She Have This Dance” by Drew Baldridge), and a surprise mother daughter dance (“When God Made You My Mother” by Riley Roth).
After dinner the couple was whisked away by a horse and carriage to take golden hour photos while the dance floor opened for guests.
When the couple came back, it was time for cake cutting and toasts from the maid of honor and best man.
The party continued with a bouquet toss and (staged) garter toss.
Grand Exit
At the end, guests lined the pathway with sparklers while Mckennah and Jordan shared a private last dance and then got a reveal of the painting created by their live painter!
The couple then walked through their pathway of sparklers to end a beautiful day.
