Annie + Austin
A Spring Natural Wedding
Carolina Country Weddings, Mt Pleasant, NC
On a beautiful, spring day in May 2025, Annie and Austin said I Do surrounded by 100 family members and friends.
On the morning of the wedding, Annie got ready off site at a hotel with her girls and then came to the venue for PJ pics and to get dressed.
Pre-Ceremony
The couple chose a natural wedding aesthetic and brought on vendors who could elevate their venue for their fairy woodland vibes.
Once everyone was ready we had a series of first looks with bridesmaids, Annie’s dad, and the groomsmen (who got iced - so fun!).
We then had a first look fake out (to calm the groom’s nerves), followed by the couple having a sweet first look and exchanging private vows.
Now that Annie and Austin had seen each other, they could get all of their family, wedding party, and couple portraits done pre-ceremony.
The ceremony was held outdoors and culminated at a wooden arbor draped in blush pink fabric and an arbor garland.
Ceremony
The family and wedding party walked down the aisle to “A Thousand Years” by Brooklyn Duo and Annie was escorted down the aisle by her parents to “I Get to Love You” by Ruelle.
The ceremony was short and sweet, blending in elements of the couple’s spirituality and led by Austin’s youth pastor.
The couple and wedding party recessed out to “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” by Natalie Cole.
Cocktail Hour
While the guests went to cocktail hour on the patio, Annie and Austin took some private time to relax and enjoy some food and a drink.
Reception
The reception started with the intros of the newlyweds coming in to “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO and then going straight into their first dance to “Stargazing - Moonlight Version” by Myles Smith.
Then the couple welcomed their parents up to the dance floor for the father daughter dance ("Give Me Away" by Riley Roth) and the mother son dance ("My Wish" by Rascal Flatts).
After, the bride’s parents made a welcome speech and then it was time for dinner.
As dinner was ending, the maid of honor and best man did their toasts, and we cut the cake (although their dog, Olive, snuck a bite first!).
The dance floor opened and we snuck the couple away to go exploring and chase the sunset.
The couple returned and changed into light up shoes, joined the dance floor, and had a late night snack of tater tots - their first date meal.
Grand Exit
At the end, guests lined the patio with sparklers while Annie and Austin shared a private last dance.
The couple then walked through their pathway of sparklers and did a dip kiss to end a beautiful day.
