Unique Wedding Guestbooks

Want something other than a traditional guestbook! Scroll down and look at some options for your big day - and their considerations.

Hanging Guestbook Sign

A slightly more unique guestbook idea is something for guests to sign and then you can hang it on your wall in your home. That way you can remember who was there every time you walk into the room!

  • Considerations: Make sure you have markers that are in a color which will show up on the item and have someone from your wedding party sign it first so others know what to do.

Photo Book Guestbook

Print some photos from your engagement session in a beautiful photobook and have guests write their sweet messages next to your sweet photos. Afterwards, you can have this on display or on a coffee table to flip through when the mood strikes.

  • Considerations: Make sure you have pens that don’t bleed through the page and have someone from your wedding party sign it first so others know what to do.

Polaroid Guestbook

Keeping in the theme of photos, you could have a Polaroid camera for guests to take their pictures with, glue them into a book, and write a little message. This also works if you’re doing a photo booth with print outs!

  • Considerations: Make sure you have a pen for them to write with, glue dots or tape to stick the photos onto the page, and plenty of film (pro tip: designate someone to refill as needed).

Bible Guestbook

If you are a Christian, a cool idea is to have a Bible guestbook where guests can highlight their favorite Bible verse and write a note. Bonus points if it’s a personalized guest book with your new last name!

  • Considerations: Make sure you have highlighters that don’t bleed through and a sign that explains what you’re asking guests to do.

Audio Guestbook

Looking for something with no writing required? Check out an audio guestbook where guests can you leave you voicemails to listen to after the wedding and for years to come.

  • Considerations: Have a designated person to set it up to make sure it’s working and put up a sign that explains how to use it.

Guestbooks don’t have to be boring! Show off your personality with one of these guestbooks that guests are sure to love.
