A Spring Taylor Swift-Inspired Wedding

The Village House at Litchfield | Myrtle Beach, SC

On a beautiful spring day in April 2026, Stephanie and Brandon said "I do" surrounded by 40 family members and friends at The Village House at Litchfield. Their celebration was a dreamy, candlelit affair with a Taylor Swift-inspired (which you know this Swiftie loved!) aesthetic woven throughout - romantic, warm, and filled with personal touches that made every corner of the day feel completely their own.

On the morning of the wedding, Stephanie got ready with her closest friends in the bridal suite, while Brandon spent the morning with his crew in the groom's room - a relaxed and intentional start to a beautifully planned day.

Brandon and his groomsmen wore custom pocket squares featuring Stephanie’s and Brandon's cats - each named after a Taylor Swift song - a small but perfectly on-brand touch that had everyone smiling.

Pre-Ceremony

The couple chose a Taylor Swift inspired wedding aesthetic and brought on vendors who could execute their vision in a cohesive, personal way - and every detail of the day reflected exactly what they want.

The reception space was styled with beautiful tablescapes that were thoughtful, detailed, and completely personal. Guests found their seats using personalized friendship bracelets as placecards - a creative, interactive touch that doubled as a keepsake and felt like such a natural extension of who Stephanie and Brandon are as a couple.

Before the ceremony, Stephanie shared a first look with her bridesmaids in the bridal suite, followed by a private first look with her mom on the front porch - a quiet, tender moment before the celebration began.

From there, Stephanie and Brandon had their couple first look on the lawn - followed by a first look with Brandon’s parents.

After these intimate moments, Stephanie and Brandon completed family, wedding party, and couple portraits before the ceremony.

The ceremony was held in the Gazebo at The Village House at Litchfield, creating a naturally beautiful and intimate backdrop for their vows.

Family, the wedding party, and Brandon walked down the aisle to "Begin Again" by Taylor Swift - including a local adoptable cat as the ringbearer.

Stephanie walked down the aisle to a piano cover of “Daylight” by Taylor Swift, keeping with the Swiftie vibes.

The ceremony was short, warm and intimate, led by a close friend of the couple through personal vows and ring exchange before the pronouncement of marriage.

The couple recessed out to "Fearless" by Taylor Swift - and there really couldn't have been a more fitting song for that moment.

Cocktail Hour

While guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the reception room, Stephanie and Brandon took a few photos before the evening began.

Reception

The evening began with the newlywed introduction to “Opalite” by Taylor Swift, followed immediately by their first dance to “State of Grace (Acoustic Version” by, you guessed it, Taylor Swift.

This was followed by a Mother-Daughter dance to “Return to Pooh Corner”, with Brandon and his mom joining in part way through.

After dinner, the Maid of Honor and Best Man each raised a glass with heartfelt toasts that had the room laughing and tearing up in equal measure.

From there, the evening shifted into celebration and the opening of the dance floor, featuring an outfit change for Stephanie into her getting ready PJs.
