Julie + Sean

A Fall Boho Wedding

The Seed Mill Event Barn, Monroe, NC

On a mild, beautiful fall day in October 2024, Julie and Sean said I Do surrounded by 80 family members and friends.

On the morning of the wedding, the wedding party got ready offsite at separate Airbnbs, and were able to relax and spend time with their closest loved ones as they prepared to say I Do before heading to the venue to get dressed.

Pre-Ceremony

The couple chose to lean into the relaxed wedding aesthetic and brought on vendors who could elevate the beautiful scenery and the barn.

They chose to do a first touch, keeping the moment sentimental and personal.

The ceremony was held outdoors in the woods with a wooden arbor. The arbor was decorated with floral swags and drapery that matched the bride’s bouquet.

Ceremony

The family and wedding party walked down the aisle to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” by Israel Kamakawiwo. Julie and her dad walked in to “You’re the Reason” by Calum Scott.

The ceremony was short and sweet, and even featured a unity tequila shot!

The couple and wedding party recessed out to “You Make my Dreams Come True” by Hall and Oates, then they waited at the end to greet and celebrate with their guests.

Cocktail Hour

While the bride, groom, their families, and the wedding party went off to take pictures, guests were invited into the porch area where they could enjoy light bites, drinks, and sign the guestbook.

Reception

The reception started off with the wedding party and newlyweds entering the barn, and then it was time for a Southern BBQ dinner.

After dinner, the maid of honor and father of the bride gave heartfelt speeches to the couple, wishing them a lifetime of happiness.

After the speeches, the couple started their first dance, followed by sweet dances with the bride and her dad, and the groom and his mom.

After the dances, the couple cut their cake and while the dance floor opened with an amazing live band, the couple went for sunset photos.

After photos, the couple returned to the dance floor and had the best time with their guests.

Grand Exit

When it was time to go home, the guests lined the pathway while Julie and Sean had a last private dance. After, they ran through a canopy of sparklers on the way to their getaway car.
