Wedding Favors
Wedding favors are a nice way to thank your guests for coming to your wedding and celebrating with you as you start your life as a married couple. As a Charlotte, NC wedding planner, I’ve seen many types of wedding favors - here are some of my favorites!
Top Tip for Wedding Guest Favors: Make it something personal, useful, or edible
Personal Wedding Favors
Wedding favors can be one way of injecting your personality as a couple into your wedding day. Some options I’ve seen:
Candy bags with each of the couple’s favorite candies
Flower seeds for people to plant (the couple loved gardening)
Gear from your favorite college (like this couple!)
Useful Wedding Favors
Wedding favors that are practical are favors that guests will actually take and keep. Some options I’ve seen:
Bottle openers (with the couple’s name and wedding date)
Custom koozies (a great way to bring your colors and personality into the wedding)
Caricatures or guest portraits (guests will love getting these done at the wedding, and then they can frame them in their homes - the guests at this wedding were obsessed!)
Edible Wedding Favors
Guests love wedding favors that are consumable because they’re tasty, and it doesn’t sit around. Some options I’ve seen:
Custom cookies with a thank you note
Local honey in a jar
Candy truck (guests got to pick out their favorite candies at this wedding and it was a hit!)
Wedding favors are small gifts for your guests that can make a big impact! A wedding planner can help you decide what favors make the most sense for you and your guests.
