Pre-Ceremony

The couple chose an elegant aesthetic and brought on vendors that could execute their vision.

The ceremony was held by the water and culminated at a white arch draped in fabric and florals.

Before the ceremony, the bride and groom did a first look and read private vows to each other.

Ceremony

Jim, his parents, and the bride’s mom walked down the aisle to “Halo” by Beyonce, followed by the wedding party, who walked down the aisle to an instrumental cover of “Ordinary”. Megan was escorted down the aisle by her dad to “A Thousand Years”.

The ceremony was short and sweet, built on their Christian faith and led by Jim’s youth pastor.

The couple and wedding party recessed out to “Viva la Vida” by Coldplay.

Cocktail Hour

While the guests went to cocktail hour, Megan and Jim took photos with their family, wedding party, and their formal couple portraits in front of the beautiful house and by the water, perfect for their elegant Lowcountry wedding.

Reception

The reception started with the newlyweds coming in to “Levels” by Avicii and then went straight into their first dance - “Can’t Help Falling in Love”.

This was followed by the mother son and father daughter dances, then a toast by Megan’s parents.

When dinner was over, the couple cut their cake and then the maid of honor and best man delivered heartfelt toasts to the couple.

Afterwards, the couple played the shoe game, held an anniversary dance, and opened the dance floor.

Grand Exit

After the couple’s private last dance, they walked out through cascading bubbles and hopped in their getaway car.
