A Summer Boho Wedding

On a warm summer day in May 2025, Emily and Brent renewed their vows surrounded by 70 family members and friends. Their celebration was a beautiful example of a boho wedding in Charlotte, blending relaxed energy with thoughtful, intentional details.
Pre-Ceremony
The couple chose a boho aesthetic and brought on vendors who could execute their vision in a way that felt cohesive and personal.
Before arriving at the brewery, Emily, Brent, and their families met at Freedom Park in Charlotte to take formal portraits. It was the perfect setting to capture meaningful moments before the celebration began.
The vow renewal was held on the top floor of Hopfly Brewing Company, with a simple yet beautiful display of baby’s breath at the altar - allowing the space and their style to speak for itself.
Vow Renewal
Emily’s niece and nephew entered the space to “Enter Sandman” by Metallica, setting a fun and unexpected tone. Brent and Emily entered together to “I Believe in a Thing Called Love” by The Darkness, a choice that felt completely true to them.
The vow renewal was sweet and personal, filled with custom vows and led by a family friend. It was one of those ceremonies that felt relaxed, genuine, and deeply meaningful for everyone in the room.
Reception
The reception started with the couple going straight into their first dance to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley - a timeless moment that set the tone for the evening.
This was followed by the father-daughter dance, grandmother-grandson dance, and mother-son dance, each adding another layer of connection and family to the celebration.
After dinner, the evening shifted into speeches and a round of the shoe game, bringing laughter and energy into the space.
Afterwards, the couple did a one-song photo-bomb before opening the dance floor. From there, the celebration carried on as guests joined them to dance and enjoy the night.
The couple ended the evening partying on the Hopfly Brewing Company rooftop in Charlotte, surrounded by their favorite people - the perfect close to a fun and intentional day.
